The Regional Sales Operations Coordinator will report to the Regional Sales Vice President on location, while working in coordination and collaboration with the Sales Operations Manager. The appropriate candidate will have strong communication, customer service, and administrative skills; experience with data analysis; and a desire to learn the inner workings of the tire industry in order to become an integral member of the sales team.

This position will report directly to the VP and support the sales team. As such, this is a great learning role from which the incumbent can follow a career path in sales, marketing, and / or operations. This is a high visibility role in a faced paced environment.

  • Support the regional salesforce as they work to achieve their Budget Targets by assisting in the day-to-day sales objectives

  • Provide administrative support to the Regional Vice President

  • Support the regional sales team to ensure customer service coverage and sales support, including telephone coverage and order entry as necessary)

  • Coordinate schedules of regional sales reps to ensure proper customer service coverage

  • Process or coordinate any required credit memos, return orders, write-downs, and/or transfers for the region (when required)

  • Provide coverage in coordination with the Sales Operations Manager to review and approve Sales Representative discounting on Sales Orders in a timely manner

  • Ensure regional compliance of all corporate-mandated policies and procedures

  • Assist with scheduling and coordination of customer meetings and sales meetings; participate as requested (may include out-of-state travel)

  • Act as a liaison between the Regional Sales Office and various departments to obtain required documents, forms, price lists, marketing material, etc.

  • Provide ad hoc sales reports for sales reps in the region as requested (Excel, Jet Reports)

  • Act as Regional Customer Service contact for company’s online program by coordinating Customer Setups, Customer Guidance for utilization of the program, and troubleshooting issues in coordination with the Sales Operations Manager

  • Other various tasks as requested

  • Bachelor’s degree Business or related field.

  • Strong communication and organization skills – willingness to learn

  • Must be dependable and punctual

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced sales environment

  • Ability to learn ERP system and any other required software programs

  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs, especially Excel at an intermediate to advanced level (v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.)
