Digital Product Owner
The Digital Product Owner for External Systems role is the liaison between the business and External Systems development team. This role works with a variety of partners to understand business requirements, build and handle the product backlog, and successfully
lead agile projects through their respective lifecycles. The DPO will provide direction to development teams regarding ideal functional solutions that align with architectural guidelines and business requirements.

Can you balance long-term business goals and bring to bear your insights into current system functionality when setting a product vision that provides feasible solutions?
Work within an Agile compliant framework and collaborate with partners/business owners to convert strategy and priorities into tangible business requirements, prototypes, design concepts, and feasible product roadmaps
Build and be responsible for producing digital technology solutions by actively identifying and anticipating needs
Lead development teams to produce creative solutions that deliver results by connecting them to the business teams and product vision
Effectively communicate key decisions and progress to a variety of key business partners and leaders
Minimum 5 years of experience in an Agile role, Business Architect, or Business Analyst role with a confirmed ability to transform complex problems into user stories and lead key agile ceremonies
Outstanding interpersonal skills, including partnership, collaboration, facilitation, negotiation, influence, and leadership skills to compliment the necessary analytical and technical skills
Excellent skills in planning and organizing work using your ability to balance the long-term ("big picture") and short-term implications of individual decisions
Ability to apply multiple solutions to business problems
Ability to serve as a liaison between both business and technical teams to drive effective, timely solutions that fulfill both strategic and operational needs
Experience being responsible for a product roadmap, crafting product and technical requirements and specifications
Good Business Insight – Understanding business implications of decisions in order to align work with strategic goals
Understanding of UX design
Tried problem solving and analytical thinking and ability to approach problems logically and systematically
Experience building use cases and technically-focused specifications, data flow diagrams, etc.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field OR equivalent work experience
